M.A., 13 years old.
On 5 December 2010 M.A. was arrested at 2 a.m. from his family house. He was accused of damaging settlers' cars and throwing stones in Al-Ram according to an Israeli report. M.A. lives in Hebron and in defence of himself he said he did not know where Al-Ram was. The judge later declared that the initial report had a spelling mistake, as Al-Ram was mistakenly used instead of Hebron. When M.A. was arrested, he was severely beaten. He was tortured during his time in detention to the degree that his trial had to be postponed because of the visible bruises on his head and body. The child was not allowed any visits during his detention. The court ruled to release him on bail for the amount of 5,000 NIS (1,300 USD), in addition to being put under a long-term house arrest.
